Motor Drive
for the Nikon F2
Up for bids is this Nikon MD-1 Motor Drive originally designed for and released with the classic F2 bodies.
This ground-breaking drive changed the face of photography when it was released in 1973, in that it can fire up to a staggering 5 frames per second and can rewind a 36 exposure film in about 7 seconds.
As you can see from the photos, this specimen is lightly used with less than normal wear; especially around the trigger and the contact areas. As grading cosmetics is subjective, I photographed all sides for you to make your own cosmetic assessment. The dials rotate smoothly.
The drive was attached to an MB-1 and advances the film, both in single shot, and continuously fire. The drive rewinds properly as well.
